Michael Laed  is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice focuses on sculptural lighting and hand-built objects

Working primarily with ceramic, wood, glass, and salvaged materials, he creates pieces that exist between furniture, sculpture, and artifact. His work is guided by material intuition, asymmetry, and an interest in how light alters mood, space, and perception.

Laed’s practice explores the emotional presence of objects through irregular form surface and atmosphere . His works often blur distinctions between fictional object, sculpture and architectural fragments.

In his ongoing commitment to craftsmanship, customization and personal storytelling, Michael accepts requests for commissions. Please use the contact tab to get in touch.
